How are packing and moving charges calculated?
Shifting costs depend on four key parameters: total volume and weight of belongings, distance between pickup and delivery destinations, packing quality (standard 3-ply vs heavy-duty 5-ply bubble wrap/wooden crating), and access conditions (elevator availability, walking distance to parking). We offer transparent guaranteed quotes with no hidden charges.
Are there any hidden costs like toll taxes, octroi, or elevator charges?
No. Our official quotations clearly state all inclusive costs: loading, unloading, GST, toll taxes, packing materials, and transport. Any special crane requirements or long-carry situations are discussed and documented upfront during the pre-move survey.
What materials do you use for delicate glassware, crockery, and electronics?
We utilize premium packing supplies including heavy-duty 5-ply corrugated boxes, 10mm high-density air bubble wrap, thermocol sheets, foam corner protectors, waterproof stretch wrap, and custom-built wooden crates for chandeliers, TVs, and marble mandirs.
Do your workers dismantle and assemble furniture?
Yes! Our trained crew includes skilled carpenters who safely dismantle king/queen size modular beds, wardrobes, and dining tables at your pickup location, and reassemble them at your new home at no extra cost.
How safe is my car or bike during vehicle carrier transit?
We transport four-wheelers only inside specialized closed multi-car carriers equipped with hydraulic ramps and individual 4-wheel safety chocks. For two-wheelers, we use double-layer foam padding and custom wooden crating. Live GPS updates allow you to track your vehicle 24x7.
Can I leave personal belongings inside my car during transport?
We advise keeping only basic vehicle accessories (spare tyre, jack, toolkit) inside the car. Personal valuables, luggage, and electronics should not be stored inside the vehicle due to road safety guidelines.
How does 100% transit insurance work?
We partner with top national general insurance companies to issue comprehensive 'All-Risk' transit insurance policies. In the rare event of transit damage or road accident, our dedicated claims coordinator assists you with immediate damage assessment and swift claim settlement.
How many days in advance should I book my move?
We recommend booking 3 to 5 days in advance for interstate moves, especially towards the month-end when moving demand is high. However, for urgent or same-day relocations, we also provide express same-day departures subject to truck availability.
